The Role To help us achieve our ambitious goals, we are looking for an experienced Industry Relations Specialist who is highly proactive, commercially driven, and analytically inclined.
This individual will play a critical role in developing and strengthening strategic relationships, fostering innovative solutions to advance the company’s standing, and creating new reputational and economic opportunities for the business.
Reporting to the External Affairs Director, the candidate will leverage data analysis and strategic insights to influence stakeholders and articulate a compelling narrative that supports Clip’s objectives.
What will I be doing? Supports Public Policy strategy, accountable for Clip’s external positioning in Fintech industry.
Represents Clip on critical regulatory and industry matters and influence agenda towards the benefit of the Company’s business development plan.
Drive initiatives to identify new opportunities for political goodwill as well as revenue generation and economic growth.
Analyze official data, statistics, and market trends to extract key takeaways and craft narratives that support business strategies.
Lead the development of presentations, policy papers, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Influence regulatory and industry agendas to align with Clip’s business development plans.
Collaborate across internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of strategic projects.
Ideal Candidate  Bachelor’s degree in Economy, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
At least 1 or 2 years of relevant experience in industry relations, business development, or a related role.
Strong proficiency in data analysis, including the ability to derive actionable insights from official statistics and industry data.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a proactive and innovative mindset.
Experience in fintech, government relations, payments, or financial services industries is a plus.
Technical.
Proven expertise in business development and strategic partnerships.
Advanced data analysis skills with experience translating insights into actionable business strategies.
Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience preparing materials for high-level stakeholders.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in dynamic environments.
Deep understanding of regulatory and industry landscapes within fintech and financial services.
