This position reports to Projects Operations Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE.
Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice.
You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.
The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area based in Algeria.
You will be mainly accountable for.
Facilitating HSE risk assessment by line management of shop floor employees, those directly affected by hazards, and ensures all processes are implemented.
Reporting HSE incidents.
Providing feedback on lessons learned as well as best practices from both own unit and across ABB, to management and employees.
Reporting progress on the implementation of ABB Group sustainability objectives and KPIs (key performance indicators) for the ABB Group, as required.
Implementing policies and standards and ensures the area of responsibility is audited.
Assisting line managers and supervisors in understanding obligations, liabilities and role fulfillment, according to local HSE law as well as ABB Group and business-specific requirements.
Driving behavioral change through the local implementation of Group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.
Embeding an exemplary health and safety culture, as well as a strong focus on the environment, throughout the respective organization.
Engaging external stakeholders (eg, customers, suppliers, relevant authorities) and internal stakeholders to report on, raise awareness of, gain commitment to and obtain objective feedback on ABB's HSE efforts and performance.
Cooperating with other functions and business partners to drive HSE performance.
Ensuring that the appropriate safety equipment and tools are available and used.
Identifies, plans and initiates training needs, e.

Driving and ensuring compliance with Group management systems.
Contributing to and/or plans and executes HSE-related projects.
Developing and reporting on project objectives.
Managing project resources such as staffing, financials and other relevant factors.
Qualifications for the role Bachelor degree.
Degree on Science in HSE is preferred 5 experience years in same position.
French and English languages Previous experience in ABB projects.
