This position reports to Service Sales Manager Your role and responsibilities In this position, you will be responsible for Service Sales in the Motion division, with a particular focus on the Drives, Motors and Generators areas.
You will play a decisive role in the further development of our business area and actively contribute to achieving our growth targets.
With your extensive experience in the sales and service environment, you will bring valuable know-how to our team at ABB.

• Together with your team, you will promote sustainable, profitable growth and achieve budget targets in order to further develop the Motion Service business and successfully penetrate the local market.
• You will lead, motivate and support your team in the development of targeted marketing strategies, acquisition plans and in the operational sales process.
• Your focus will be on supporting the end customer market to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.
In addition, you will develop sales approaches with OEMs and channel partners to expand the reach of the business.
• You will support the implementation of sales measures such as customer events and promotional campaigns relating to the drive technology portfolio, frequency inverters and motors.
• You will carry out market analyses, evaluate market opportunities and continuously monitor the achievement of set target figures.
• In this key role, you will actively shape the strategic direction of the division together with the management team.
• You will implement strategic and operational measures in the sales area and continuously develop your team.
Qualifications for the role You have a relevant degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification You have several years of experience in sales and service and are characterized by strong business development skills.
You have experience as a manager and know how to successfully lead a team.
Personally, you are characterized by a high level of customer and market orientation as well as independent and solution-oriented work.
Your profile is rounded off by negotiating skills and excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of drive technology, AC and DC technology and electric motors is an advantage.
You communicate and negotiate confidently in German and English.
