Aspectos generales The Corporate and Investment Banking Department is a key part of the BBVA Mexico Group, where we participate as a single team, together with the other General Divisions, contributing value by serving the largest corporate segment in Mexico.
Our main responsibility lies in developing the bank's relationship with our clients, advising them on their financial risk needs, funding and growth strategies.
esponsibilities.
Understand clients' needs and strategic decisions.
Identify and generate new business opportunities with existing or prospective clients.
Visit and call clients proactively, providing a global coverage and acting as a link between BBVA and the client Develop and manage a pipeline of potential and probable new business wins, documenting status and assumptions throughout the sales process.
Register, monitor, modify and update customers' activity, profitability and business opportunities in the in-house client management tools (Global Desktop).
Stay abreast of national and international news that may affect his/her scope of responsibility.
Collaborate in defining the sales strategy, business plans and financial forecasts for the sector which he/she is specialised in maximize profitability with clients through the appropriate pricing of new business wins, product extensions, and cross-selling other BBVA products.
In partnership with other CIB units (product, risk...), drive the execution of the sales strategy, to achieve new business sales objectives, maintain current revenue streams, expand market share and increase the share of wallet with target clients.
ollaborate in defining the business strategy, business plan, budgets and financial forecasts for the unit.
Develop and foster relationships with new and existing clients, and participate in origination activities.
