We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst for our new MX Site in San Luis Potosi.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.
Knowledge Skills
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.
2 4 years experience in finance or accounting. Experience at big 4 accounting firm is an advantage.
Verbal and written communication skills in English Language
Proficient with Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, PowerPoint.
Well known ERP system would be better.
Math skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and negotiation skills.
Requires both speed and accuracy in performing data entry.
Personality Attitude
Adaptable to working in crosscultural teams, with excellent communication skills and quick responsiveness.
Job Description
Manage MX finance, accounting, treasury, and tax functions of the company.
Financial Accounting
General ledger transactions, closing processes, and including but limited to
Oversee and review all balance sheet accounts
Approve journal entries produced by accounting staff, review and approve documentation
Ensure that the accounting treatment is correct
Quarterly financial statements
Maintain work papers and reconciliation schedules
Payment batch release
Prepare yearendaudit papers.
FPA processes and operations support.
Responsible for cost data calculate and followup product cost.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures recommend and implement process improvements.
Support all relevant internal areas including the design and presentation of training for accounting policies and procedures which impact these departments.
