FACILTIES SPECIALIST

Responsible for the development, management and maintenance of facilities operations.
May control a broad span of service departments - catering, maintenance, office premises and property.
Manages multifunctional teams to deliver a range of frontline services to an area or assets to meet business demands and support customers operating effectively Provides overall direction and accountability for the development, provision and management of operational services to an area or asset Assumes overall responsibility and ownership of an asset or area.
This may include accountability for the responsibilities in the position of delegated duty holder and/or building manager as defined under Safety, Health and Environment plans Leads and line manages their teams, providing direction and motivation, managing performance, and developing the skills and capabilities of colleagues Contributes to the development and implementation of the area capital investment programme Ensures operational compliance with agreed standards and targets (both local Facilities Management and AstraZeneca more widely) such as Safety Health and Environment / Good Manufacturing Practice, and other statutory and regulatory requirement Builds strong and effective relationships with customers, developing an understanding of their businesses, priorities, preferences and specific needs Qualifications.
