Responsibilities Responsible for the execution of plant performance to meet cost, quality, delivery and safety per forecast.
Responsible for hiring, developing and retaining people within the operation.
Daily, weekly & monthly review of measurables to ensure expectations are met Sharing and implementing best business practices Flawless launches On-site plant reviews minimum once per month Ensure root cause and corrective actions are both implemented and shared for all non-conformances in quality, delivery, safety and cost overruns Travel to customer, company manufacturing sites, and supplier sites based on business needs Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Operations or related field or equivalent work experience Ideally 10+ years manufacturing experience in plastic injection molding and assembly operations, with 5+ of those years served as plant manager Must possess excellent communications skills have and the ability to work effectively with all other functional groups throughout the organization Must have excellent interpersonal skills that will enable them to lead, motivate and get results in a matrix organization.
The ideal candidate will be required to think strategically to adapt to changing environments while possessing the appropriate analytical skills to guide problem solving to ensure sustainable corrective action.
The person will need to be able to manage green field start-ups as well as new program launches.
The person will need excellent project management skills to ensure the execution of many of these projects, simultaneously.
