With over 1 million users already on board, we’re shaping the future of education, and we’re just getting started!What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain real-time data pipelines using tools like Kafka, Debezium, and Confluent to synchronize MySQL and PostgreSQL data to our warehouse.
Manage batch and streaming data ingestion workflows using Airbyte, custom Python scripts, and other tools.
Build and optimize scalable data models in data warehouses using dbt, ensuring they’re ready for analysis and tailored to business needs.
Analyze feature performance, adoption rates, and engagement metrics by querying data warehouses or using tools like Mixpanel to provide actionable insights.
Write efficient SQL queries for ad hoc data analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
Build and maintain dashboards in Metabase for key metrics and insights.
Enable data activation workflows with tools like Hightouch, sending alerts and integrating data with Slack and Notion.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that drive decision-making.
What We're Looking For Strong experience with Kafka, Debezium, and Confluent for building real-time data pipelines.
Hands-on expertise with tools like Airbyte, RabbitMQ, and Python for data ingestion and transformation.
Advanced SQL skills, capable of querying large datasets and deriving actionable insights.
Experience with data warehouses (e.
., ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and dbt for robust data modeling.
Familiarity with BI tools like Metabase for dashboard creation.
Experience with event tracking and analytics platforms, such as Mixpanel or Amplitude.
Experience with Hightouch or similar tools for reverse ETL workflows.
Basic understanding of Airflow or similar tools for task scheduling.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on ensuring data quality and pipeline reliability.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
Familiarity with Azure and Pulumi is a plus.
