Join us in our mission to enable breakthrough innovation for cloud computing in Intel's Data Platform Engineering and Architecture group (DPEA).
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to.
Characterize Power measurements and/performance bottlenecks on Intel Xeon products across Cloud Service Provider workloads (High Performance Computing (HPC), Machine learning/Deep learning).
Find optimization opportunities in the next Generation CPU Architecture.
Deep dive into both hardware and software of Customer workloads to understand full system architecture WRT power and performance.
Design, develop and implement proxy workloads to emulate customer scenarios.

Qualifications.
Minimum qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Bachelor´s or master's or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline.
1+ year of experience in Software Development and Debugging in C/C++, python, C# or any other programming language.
1+ year of working knowledge of Computer, Systems architecture fundamentals and/or x86 CPU architecture.
Familiar with Software workload performance tuning and/or analysis.
Intermediate to advanced English level.
Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.
Preferred qualifications, Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience with performance tools and methodologies.
Experience with operating system internals and/or Cloud Server architecture.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
