CEN) CORPORATE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ANALYST

Main Responsibilities Analyze M&A transactions, assist in developing valuation models (DCF, multiples, etc.) and evaluate transaction investment metrics.
Assist in the assessment of business development opportunities in CEMEX worldwide across our 4 core businesses (cement, ready-mix, aggregates and Urbanization Solutions) and non-CEMEX markets and geographies.
Contribute to analyzing market conditions, competitive dynamics, and industry performance to identify opportunities which would improve CEMEX’s positioning as a leader in the building materials industry.
Assist in developing materials for top management meetings, including the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and other events.
Work and coordinate with corporate staff and regional operational areas, including legal, tax, finance, accounting, operations and technical, among others.
Position Challenges Handling complex financial models and valuations, managing high pressure and tight deadlines, Dealing with confidentiality and information management.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus 1-3 years of work experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Finance, Business Development, or equivalent areas Advanced English required (C1/C2 or TOEFL/IELTS equivalent) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office The ideal candidate embodies Cemex values.
