Job Overview TE Connectivity's Purchasing Teams are responsible for obtaining materials, components, equipment and services, gather quotations, examine bids, and award contracts.
They perform cost analysis and volume planning for commodities, evaluate vendor reliability and develop new supply sources where required.
They coordinate purchasing activities with the manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels and monitor cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.
They also look for and recommend cost saving proposals including make vs.
buy analysis, alternative sourcing, and vendor evaluation criteria as well as develop specifications for new contract orders.
Responsabilidades Responsable de la revisión periódica de los mensajes de excepción de MRP.
Responsable del seguimiento de las compras y las partes subcontratadas, así como de la comunicación diaria con los proveedores para tener el material a tiempo.
Responsable de identificar números de parte con largo leadtime y desarrollar plan para reducirlo.
(PIR actualizado) revisar Responsable de la validación de productos en obsolescencia.
Responsable de coordinar con aduanas y el cross-dock el orden en conjunto con el Coord.
De Logística para establecer las prioridades de material a importar.
Responsable de asegurar que las requisiciones y los costos estimados estén bien hechos.
Responsable de establecer las órdenes de compra (PO´s) con los proveedores.
Responsable de expeditar las órdenes de compra (PO´s) de ser necesario.
Responsable de mantenerse actualizado en el uso y aplicación de SAP con el fin de desarrollar habilidades específicas relacionadas con compras, así como para aplicarlo en la salida de información para investigar o resolver asuntos de negocios.
