Job Description As a Logistics Specialist at Bosch, an individual will need to be customer focused to plan purchased finished goods for Original equipment customers in North America.
Also, to bring a strong drive to deliver to customer expectations and communicate openly when necessary.
Above all, be driven to improve quality, delivery and cost aspects related to the below responsibilities of the role.
-Design and optimize the appropriate material supply chain and service level to the customer, coordinate information between customer, sales and supplying plants -Meet customer requirements, while minimizing obsolescence, manage product changes with customer, sales and supplying plants -Support, identify and communicate corrective actions in case of deviations and claims Customer demand knowledge.
• To ensure that the client's requirements are updated in the system.
• To monitor and confirm requirements according to the parameters defined by Bosch or by the customer to accept or reject variations in the short and medium term.
• To identify source of demand/type of client (Tier, OEM, Bosch) to ensure compliance with the specific requirements that each one requires (Type of transmission EDI, Incoterm, Collection frequency, etc.) Prepare customer's forecast.
• To maintain 21 months of demand in the system, taking into account client EDI, Sales forecast and historical data.
• To analyze deviations between forecast and actual sales.
• To compare EDI+ Forecast vs TPZ of sales.
• To communicate potential long-term demand risks to the Supply Chain (EOP, increases, decreases, etc.) Demand Control.
• To ensure the right sending of ASN and confirm that it has been received by the customer.
• To schedule shipments one day before the customer's pickup through the Logistics Warehouse.
• Tracking of shipments from the departure of the unit until its arrival to the final customer.
• To coordinate EOP to reduce the risk of obsolescence in FG, WIP and RM.
• Communication with customers • To Inform the customer an effective and timely manner of bottlenecks caused by internal or external sources, offering delivery plans and alternatives to avoid impacts.
• Actively customer portals validations and comply with requested requirements (contact updates, ASN validation, boarding promises, etc.) Analysis Results.
• To analyze the sales result of the assigned product according to the designated parameters and deliver the respective reports in a timely manner.
• To provide explanations, proposals and reliable data based on what was analyzed to support plant inventory control decisions.
• To conduct research related to the results of the analyzes to improve or correct deviations in the processes.
• To Identify areas of opportunity to improve the profitability of the business and develop the corresponding measures.
Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System • To understood and comply with the Environmental Management System (EMS) ISO and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SGS) OHSAS according to points 5.

C-TPAT and OEA • To comply with the standards established in the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and OEA (Authorized Economic Operator) certification.
• To comply and ensure the implementation of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO and IATF according to the process in which it works within the organization.
• To manage, implement and assign necessary programs, processes and actions to ensure compliance with corresponding laws, regulations and requirements of the RBA code, the various authorities and applicable laws in force.
Qualifications Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Field of Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Industrial Engineering Must have a minimum of 3+ years' experience in Supply Chain Management or Materials Planning in Automotive Industry Must have 3+ years of experience handling SAP logistics applications or another enterprise MRP software Must possess 3+ years of experience in Customer Account Management English Level.
