BOSCH GROUP LASER TECHNOLOGY ENGINEER SPECIALIST

Job Description Support by new product introduction, equipment and process definition, acquisition, validation, and installation on production environment.
Develop instructions and internal procedures to ensure compliance of changes and modifications required by CN, CoC or central entities.

Laser technology Specialist.
• Support to develop, test and validate programs for laser marking PCB panels, laser soldering for metallic components and laser welding between plastic parts.
• Warranty the correct legibility and registration with MES of the information marks (DMC, part number, …) in PCBs in SMT and FA lines.
• Validate and maintain machine parameters for laser markings and welding’s for metallic and plastic components.
• Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and procedures, which contribute to reducing and eliminating non conformities and optimizing processes.
• Provide support in the reception and validation of Laser Machines according Bosch Standards.
Responsible supporting for creation and maintenance of golden samples for the Thermal profiles.
Design, fabrication, acceptance validation, release, implementation on production process and definition of correct storage and maintenance.
• Provide support to production in solving problems that affect processes and Laser Machines.
• Responsible for acceptance validation, release and implementation of the laser processes for roduction process.
• Responsible to follow implementation of DMD´s / VVT´s / and general specifications requested for VS.
• Maintain constant communication with CN colleagues to understand changes and new requirements and communicate them to MFP group.
• Ensure the participation of the group of engineers in global process meetings.
Sharing lessons learned.
• Identify gaps, improvement opportunities and vulnerabilities in process and provide training for engineers and technicians to solve them and implement this trainings and actions in a systematic way.
• Responsible for supporting by quality / customer audits.
• Responsible to validate NPI establishing process parameters, mechanical dimensions and production release.
• Responsible to support validation of new part number implementations and new lines launches.
• Eliminate non-valued added activities.
• Responsible to train technicians on process, machine configuration and process parameters Qualifications EDUCATION.
Bachelor´s degree in Mechatronics / Electromechanic / Mechanical LANGUAGE.
English advanced SKILLS.
• Knowledge in laser theory and functionality (intensity, classes, wavelength, …) • Ability to work in a team-based environment and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Knowledge in structural programing (C++, Python or similar).
• Knowledge in a laser parts (Power supply, focal lens, collimator, power meter, Pyrometer, optic protection glasses) • Experience +2 years in laser technologies (marking / welding) in brands.
o Foba o Asys o Trumpf • Knowledge in Traceability system (MES) • Mechanical knowledge for warranty the correct and efficient function of the different internal devices of the Laser processes (Mechanical alignment).
• Advanced knowledge in Robotics and process automation.
• Knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience (3-5 years) as mechanical process or maintenance.
• PLC programming is a plus.
TwinCAT.
• Knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Design CAD.
Solid works, or other mechanical design SW.
• Deep Knowledge in MSA and SPC.
• Basic knowledge in vision system and scanners (Keyence, Cognex, Data Logic).
• Design electromechanical systems for automation or control of manufacturing equipment.
