We are currently searching for a Backup TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager).
Responsibilities Deploy and configure Commserve, Media agen t, and client.
Perform Commserve DB maintenanc e and disaster recovery operations.
Administer data protection for file systems and enterprise applications.
Conduct media management activities (Disk library, EMC data domain, Hyperscale nodes, appliances).
Perform Commvault user administration as per policies.
Manage infrastructure backup and restoration.
Install, configure, and administer Commvault.
Support and troubleshoot backup, recovery, and archiving in a large, complex environment.
Monitor backup jobs, execute restore jobs, and troubleshoot failed jobs.
Provide backup status and progress reports for Commvault backup solution.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis of backup solutions.
Maintain storage and FC network policies and standards.
Monitor performance, errors, and warnings on FC network and attached storage systems.
Requirements Minimum 7-10 years of experience in TSM Backup.
Good knowledge of Windows*servers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues and support in 24/7 shifts when required.
Hands-on experience in current enterprise-level Dell Compellent, HPE 3PAR, IBM Storsimple (hybrid storage) design, networking, configuration, capacity management, troubleshooting, and maintenance of highly available enterprise data storage systems.
Solid understanding of various methods to back up virtual machine s and DR strategies utilizing vMotion, HA, SAN snapshots, LUN replication, etc.
Experience in VMware infrastructure design and planning involving large-scale clusters.
Desired Understanding of Dell Compellent, HPE 3PAR, IBM Storsimple technology and how vSphere is implemented with shared storage (e.
., fiber channel, iSCSI, NFS, or CIFS, RDM vs VMFS) strategies for performance and optimization across logical and physical network topologies.
Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices for Change Management.
Languages Advanced Oral English.
Native Spanish.
Note.
Remote work in Mexico for the first 3 months, then availability to relocate to the United States.
