We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining automation scripts and systems to enhance software performance and reliability. The role involves API and UI testing with a focus on automation tools, and requires technical proficiency in scripting and coding, though not at the level of a developer. Collaborates with crossfunctional teams to implement automation solutions and improve application performance.
Key Responsabilities
Design, script, and execute automation processes, including API and UI testing, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain test cases and plans coordinate data requirements across systems and applications.
Conduct functional and lowscale performance testing, focusing on automation frameworks like Selenium and Cucumber.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, optimizing applicationAPI performance and proposing enhancements.
Write clear and detailed documentation on automation capabilities and procedures.
Work independently on API testing and integration, especially in financial services or credit card processing.
Use Agile tools e.g., Jira to manage and write user stories and collaborate effectively in an AgileScrum environment.
Qualifications
5 years of professional experience as an Automation Engineer.
Strong experience in automation tools Selenium, Cucumber and scripting languages JavaScript.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman and integrating APIs.
Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, Redis cache, and Kafka.
Strong communication skills, capable of translating engineering requirements into test cases and executing them.
Musthave
Experience with automation testing in banking, financial services, or credit card processing.
Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools e.g., Jira.
Knowledge of CICD processes Jenkins, source control GIT, and cloud technologies Postman, Insomnia.
Experience with accessibility testing and performance testing tools JMeter.
Prior experience in the financial, banking, or other sectors that offer payment services is required. Additionally, banking experience may encompass knowledge of accessibility standards.
Proficiency in English is required.
A Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is MANDATORY.
