The successful candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, excellent organization skills and a solid understanding of AV Systems and troubleshooting.
Technicians will provide ongoing technical and operational support of audio-visual equipment and systems, as well as service and maintenance.
Job Description.
Responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment, to include operating, maintaining, distributing, installing, configuring various electronic products while ensuring their optimal performance.
nstall and replace hardware components, e.
., LCD displays, Direct View LEDs, Audio Systems, Media players etc.
erform remote and onsite troubleshooting of installed systems Diagnose, repair and test AV Systems and associated equipment.
erform system configuration, leveling and wiring.
oad and retrieve software configurations and programming files.
rovide high-quality telephone and in person AV support.
ull wire through conduit and surface runs, terminate.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities.
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of AV technologies to include the ability to perform testing, analyses, and corrective action in a professional environment Knowledge of all wire and connector types on all AV related cabling.
roficient terminating and troubleshooting of AV cabling Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
bility to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
bility to prioritize and work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
Other Requirements.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
ust have tools needed for all jobs.
ust have valid driver’s license.
ust be able to travel when needed.
SHA 30 certification a plus Work Environment.
Regularly works with others; works inside or outside and around mechanical equipment and moving objects.
ork is usually performed at client location in town and out of town.
ay be required to work long hours, including nights and weekends; may work alone or with a team.

5 + years’ experience.
Qualifications.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in AV industry; or combination of education and relevant AV technicalEducation/Experience.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Job Type.
