JOB PURPOSE     As Ass istant Procure ment Manager for Global Functional Ingredients, you will be responsible for building and implementing the global strategies catered for the new Ice Cream company.
You will also be representing the portfolio both to internal and external stakeholders.
Lastly, you will act as the main point of contact for operational and strategic topics across the Americas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   S upport the development and lead the implementation of the portfolio procurement strategy.
Develop strong relationship with suppliers and analyze their capabilities to develop long term supplier strategies.
Lead frequent global negotiations, delivering of savings and cash targets via excellent market understanding, strategy implementations, negotiation skills and application of price risk management (PRM) principles    Implement contracts and ensuring high service levels to sourcing units across the Americas.
Ensur e compliance of RSP, Contracting, Quality and service in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Initiate global portfolio initiatives (e.
., ASA/AMA, Resilience, market development, etc) to create more leverage globally, ensuring strong connection with the regions and MET’s.
Support the collaboration between global suppliers and regional procurement teams to establish both short and long-term business objectives    Support innovation projects through strong collaboration with R&D-team, providing market intelligence, supplier capabilities and capacity     Work closely with the finance community to support the business with accurate price forecasting, including market price trends and future market trends to enable proper budgeting and price forecasting    Continuously seeking for new opportunities and always open for improvement    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED.
