As an Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop your own team of Amazon Associates in a distribution warehouse environment.
Your main focus will be motivating, mentoring and coaching your team.
As a servant leader, the OB Area Manager will ensure that their team of Amazon Associates have all the tools needed to succeed for any task during a shift.
Engaging with your team during a shift to ensure that the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance performance and engagement are maintained are core functions of the role.

Job requirement.
- This role is fully onsite and requires flexibility to work and rotate shifts.

Key job responsibilities - Day-to-day management of the site, overseeing the operation that focuses on the delivery of Amazon orders direct to customers - Lead a direct/indirect team to ensure that you have a safe work place, properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs - Support and assign job duties to process assistants - Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed - Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs - Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention - Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards - Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality Continuous improvement pillar.
- Propose, plan and execute continuous improvement strategies that seek continuous operational efficiency.

- During the shift, you are the main person in charge of safeguarding the well-being of the personnel under your charge, being directly or indirectly hired by the company.

- Review the operational forecast and determine productivity requirements for the operation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
- 3+ years of general experience - 2+ years of employee and performance management experience - English and Spanish proficiency PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - - Experience managing a team of 50+ employees - - Experience with process improvements (Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma) - - Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills - - A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
- - Industry experience in.
manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, defense/aerospace, production or distribution environments.
