What You'll Do.
You will work in a DevOps-driven culture, owning and driving collaboration across peer teams, cloud operations, and the technology stack to ensure end-to-end delivery of tasks.
You will have the passion and skills to discover true technical and operational requirements for new feature requests, demonstrating strong customer relationship abilities.
Additionally, you will explore alternate technical and business approaches and lead engineering efforts to deliver the best possible solutions within committed customer timelines.
What We Expect from You.
Expertise in building large-scale enterprise applications, system architecture, and engineering best practices.
Ability to develop ultra-scalable, highly reliable design specifications, incorporating fault tolerance, automatic recovery in error scenarios, and strong diagnostic approaches.
A customer-first mindset, with a focus on operational excellence, system performance, and security.
Proficiency in identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks, enhancing existing codebases, and delivering robust automation tests to validate user stories and backlog items.
Qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in software development, particularly in Core Java and web development, with strong proficiency in SQL/PLSQL.
Proven expertise in building large-scale, fault-tolerant, high-performing, and highly scalable software products, with experience managing complex projects.
Demonstrated experience in system-level design, web services, and service-oriented architectures.
Proficiency in performance tuning for Java, SQL, or related technologies, with experience in REST APIs and microservices preferred.
Strong technical leadership and business acumen, with the ability to make sound technology and design decisions.
Strategic thinker capable of navigating business, product, and technical challenges, and developing robust unit test automation using various tools.
Inspirational technical leader who sets high standards for the team and justifies ideas with data-driven, detail-oriented analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where time-to-market is critical.
Career Level - IC4 As a Principal Application Engineer in the Software Engineering division, you will leverage your expertise in software architecture to contribute to the development, debugging, and design of software applications, operating systems, and databases, in alignment with provided design specifications.
You will build enhancements within the existing software architecture and proactively suggest improvements to optimize it.
