El Analista Principal de Tecnología de Soporte de Aplicaciones es un profesional estratégico que se mantiene actualizado sobre los desarrollos dentro del campo propio y contribuye a la estrategia direccional al considerar su aplicación en el empleo propio y en el negocio.
Es la autoridad técnica reconocida para un área dentro de la empresa.
Requiere conocimiento comercial básico.
Hay, en general, múltiples personas dentro de la empresa que brindan el mismo nivel de experiencia en la materia.
Se requiere el desarrollo de habilidades de diplomacia y comunicación para orientar, influenciar y convencer a los demás, en particular a los colegas de otras áreas y clientes externos ocasionales.
Tiene un impacto significativo en el área debido a que hace entregas complejas.
Brinda asesoramiento y consejos en relación con la tecnología y las operaciones de la empresa.
Su trabajo impacta en toda el área, y esto, con el tiempo, afecta el desempeño y la efectividad generales de la categoría de puestos/subfunciones.
Responsabilidades.
El Analista Principal de Tecnología de Soporte de Aplicaciones es responsable de asociarse con múltiples equipos de tecnología para garantizar la adecuada integración de las funciones para alcanzar los objetivos; identificar y definir las mejoras que necesita el sistema; analizar la lógica del sistema existente e identificar problemas; y recomendar e implementar soluciones.
Proporcionar experiencia en el área propia y un nivel avanzado de comprensión de los principios de soporte de aplicaciones.
Formular y definir el alcance y los objetivos de los sistemas para resolución de problemas y mejoras de aplicaciones complejas y de alto impacto mediante el análisis profundo y la evaluación de procesos comerciales, sistemas y normas industriales complejos; documentar requisitos.
Asociarse con múltiples áreas de tecnología y equipos de administración para garantizar la adecuada integración de las funciones con la finalidad de alcanzar los objetivos.
Trabajar junto con los propietarios de productos, analistas de negocios y analistas de sistemas para determinar y documentar los impactos de los sistemas y los requisitos de soporte.
Tener en cuenta las consecuencias de la aplicación de tecnología en el ambiente actual.
Identificar riesgos, vulnerabilidades y problemas de seguridad; comunicar el impacto y proponer opciones de mitigación de riesgos.
Actúa como asesor o instructor de los analistas nuevos o de menor nivel; asignar trabajos.
Brindar un análisis profundo con pensamiento interpretativo para definir problemas y desarrollar soluciones innovadoras.
Tiene un impacto directo en el negocio al influir en las decisiones funcionales estratégicas a través del asesoramiento, consejos o servicios suministrados.
Persuadir e influir en otras personas a través de sólidas habilidades de comunicación y diplomacia integral.
Cumple otras funciones y obligaciones que se le asignen.
Evaluar adecuadamente el riesgo cuando se toman decisiones comerciales, demostrando una consideración particular por la reputación de la empresa y protegiendo a Citigroup, sus clientes y activos, al impulsar el cumplimiento de las leyes, las reglas y los reglamentos correspondientes, acatando la política, aplicando un juicio ético sólido en relación con el comportamiento personal, la conducta y las prácticas comerciales y escalando, administrando e informando los problemas de control con transparencia, así como supervisar de manera efectiva la actividad de otros y crear responsabilidad con aquellas personas que no mantienen estos estándares Calificaciones.
Entre 6 y 10 años de experiencia.

Educación.
Licenciatura/título universitario; preferentemente maestría.
Main responsibilities.
-This role is part of productive and non-productive environments support teams; it needs skills to be able to work with banking enterprise applications monitoring tools.
It’s a multidisciplinary role that will support several monitoring tools, the individual must be self-taught to accelerate the learning curve of new tools and observability technologies.
-Ability to understand any issue that arises under the use of the three pillars of observability data such as metrics, logs and traces.
-Detect an analyze the significance of events to our operations, software development life cycles, applications security, and end-user experience.
-Implement continuous automation; automatic discovery, instrumentation, and baselining of every system component on a continuous basis shifts IT effort away from manual configuration.
-Comprehensive approach to IT service management, including wide perception of changes, developments, upgrades, infrastructure, and application configurations.
-Build and manage monitoring tools, develop data pipelines, sometimes investigate incidents, and most certainly troubleshoot from time to time.
-Responsible of developing the vision and execution of the observability roadmap (policies, tools and resources) working closely with DevSecOps and infrastructure teams.
-Develop, implement and integrate policies, procedures, tools and resources to support the observability framework.
-Gather new requirements from IT teams and market best practices to enhance the framework.
-Work with support teams on applications scalability, logging, monitoring, intelligent alerting and self-healing.
-Work with product owners to ensure all technical products and services follow observability standards and policies.
-Constantly update personal technical and business knowledge and skills and mentor others to increase the knowledge and skills of the team.
Technical skills.
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Hands-on experience configuring, implementing and instrumenting observability/monitoring tools including AppDynamics and Splunk are highly desirable.
Optionally, are desirable Dynatrace, Evolven, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana), etc.
Monitoring full-stack cloud, hybrid, and traditional on-premise systems.
-In-depth knowledge of DSLs (domain-specific languages) such as Apache Lucene, Elasticsearch/ELK Query, Splunk Search Language (SPL), Google Cloud Monitoring query Language (MQL), Prometheus PromQL, Kibana Query Language (KQL), etc.
-Knowledge of configuration management, monitoring dashboards, metrics, alerts, thresholds, reports, etc.
-Prior experience in working with log aggregation, metrics, distributed tracing, synthetics monitoring and real user monitoring.
Proven experience working as a L3 support.
-Experience working with incidents support such as ITIL or other ITSM frameworks.
-Excellent troubleshooting skills.

-Experience with automation using PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting or similar tech preferred.
-Knowledge of data visualization.
-Collect, aggregate and visualize collected metrics to provide actionable insights.

-Intermediate English level is a must; written and spoken, be able to establish technical conversations.
Advanced level is a plus.
