Job Responsibilities.
Responsible PCBA manufacturing areas to potentially include.
SMT Line, Through Hole solder, PCBA Inspection, Dispense and De-panel.
Work closely with the Product Engineering team to ensure that new products are designed for manufacturing per Harman process specifications (DFM/DFA) and create new specifications as required.
Make automation decisions, develop proof of concepts and evaluate new assembly technologies Lead advanced problem-solving efforts related to process development, quality and efficiency Develop suppliers to deliver cost efficient manufacturing process solutions Develop innovative manufacturing process solutions and models that supports business and process KPIs Act as the Process Engineering leader representing AME with internal and external customers for process engineering issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional team to launch, test and validate new tools, machines and processes in global manufacturing locations.
Work to close any open design validation issues prior to industrialization of the manufacturing plant.
Using Harman´s AME Standard Operating Procedures, ensure pilot Design Validation activities meet the Product Lifecycle Management milestone objectives.
Work closely with AME assembly and process engineers to launch, test and validate new tools, machines and processes in Queretaro plant.
Work on Manufacturing RFQ for new electronics product designs.
Prepare process, tooling, and equipment cost quotes and justify project cost.
Simultaneously work on multiple projects.
Work closely with the Product Engineering team to ensure that new product design for manufacturing per Harman process specifications.
Work with cross-functional team to close any open Design Validation issues prior to the transfer of launch information to the manufacturing plant.
Support manufacturing launch team on daily activities during Process Validation (PV) phase.
Using robust Design of Experiments, develop new and additional high-volume manufacturing capabilities with outside integrators from concept through successful operation.
Lead Non-Conforming Systemic events root cause analysis.
Provide feedback to IPMs, PMs, TPM per their specific questions or requirements.
Work closely with AME Global to Update standards focusing to Harman Organization benefits.
Provide support SMT-HI Process Eng.
during Industrialization phase.
Responsible to develop panel design for Projects in RFQ phase and Industrialization phase.
Provide panel drawing based on the Panel standards also looking for cost savings.
Initiate design changes for value engineering.
Work with all engineering disciplines and manufacturing to identify cost reduction opportunities.
Participate as the CQI 17 Co-auditor lead (must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in electronic assembly manufacturing).

Excellence BSMET, BSEET with 5 to 10 years of experience in PCBA assembly related processes.
5 years’ experience executing DFM analysis Expert user Valor DFM Software PCB Design for Manufacturability – IPC training 3 Years Experience executing RFQ (PCBA Cost Analysis; Cycle Time Balance; Manufacturing Risk Analysis).
Project finance knowledge/capital budgets and request for appropriations.
3 Years Experience Evaluating new Technologies (CmK, CpK, DOE); Machine runoff and statistical analysis experience.
3 Years Experience evaluating solder paste (DOE Solder paste Release, SIR analysis, Chemical compatibility test, Ionic Chromatography Test) 3 Years Experience PCB Panel Design Solid Modeling CAD experience required, like CREO, solid works or equivalent is preferred.
Advance English level 90% (reading and writing that allows fluid presentations).
Should be able to create process documentation and work instructions (VJIs).
Project Management (New Launches, Transfer of Lines, Increase Capacity, Process Improvements, Project timelines and budget).
Risk Analysis oriented, Conflict Management.
Ability to work under stressful conditions.
Problem Solving and Continuous improvement skills.
Process Optimization, Line Balancing, Process Design skills.
Conflict Management.
Knowledge in norm IPC and IPC 610.
