What impact you’ll make.
As a member of the Aero FP&A finance team you will be an active contributor to the planning and reporting activities of Aero Equipment P&L and provide business leadership visibility on financial metrics.
Job Description.
What you ’ll do      Actively c oordinat e and construct Aero Equipment Order and P&L view with New Unit Project Finance team for forecasting sessions (MOR, Early Read, Budget), consolidating global P&L construct.
Analyz e, identify and communicat e variance drivers, risk and opportunities on P&L and Order case.
Reconcil e P&L construct with PowerMax, ERP data and SIOP output s.
Timely subm i t and communicate Gas Power HQ deliverables for planning and closing sessions including reporting packages, decks and Hyperion uploads.
Drive Aero NU Lean Monthly closing activity and reconciliation versus estimates and advise New Unit Project Finance team on revenue recognition, inventory liquidation and intercompany elimination bookings.
Provide financial advice and counsel to all functional components.
Support cross-functional request from controllership, supply chain, auditors.
Proactively communicate P&L results and progress with senior management, support P&L bowler construct.
Support business, HQ and FP&A team on ad hoc requests   Drive and be advocate o f Aero NU Lean projects, identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
Lead finance resources reporting to the role.
What you’ll bring (B asic Q ualification s)   Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience/ knowledge Major experience in the field of finance   Superior analytical ability with excellent process skills, prior GE FP&A experience (or similar) strongly beneficial   Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to push through challenging targets and decisions.
Dynamic interpersonal skills/strong communication skills; ability to interface across all levels of an organization.
Proficient use of financial systems and analysis tools including Microsoft Office (eg.
Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Fluency in English, both written and speaking.
