ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks, ensuring that financial records are accurate and in compliance with established standards.
The role involves maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts, while working closely with other departments to provide financial information and support.
ey ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principlesPrepare and process journal entries, including accruals and adjustmentsAssist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processesReconcile general ledger accounts and bank statementsPrepare financial reports and present them to management as neededProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely payment and collectionAssist with the preparation of tax filings and compliance with local regulationsAssist with audits by preparing documentation and supporting materialsMonitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial insightsSupport budgeting and forecasting activitiesEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standardsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProven experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar accounting roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulationsProficiency in accounting software (e.
., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office, especially ExcelHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishPreferred QualificationsCPA certification or working towards certificationExperience with ERP systemsKnowledge of tax laws and compliance requirementsExperience in financial reporting and auditingAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamBenefitsChristmas Bonus.
