MISSION.
The Accounting Cycle Analyst ensures accounting quality of activities of one or more accounting cycles in accordance with Group-defined deadlines and local and Group accounting standards.
He/She is responsible for accounting data and economic consistency for accounts in his/her scope (companies/Cycles).
He/She is responsible for critical tasks that are part of accounting closing process.
He/She is responsible for government reporting for AMN/AMC.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS Government accountant.
Completes all government reporting required by law for Corporate and Plants in the US & Canada by required due dates.
Analyze information requested and use professional judgment to obtain the data required for Compliance for US, Mexican and Canadian Governments.
This includes analytical reviews, expertise and functional requirements.
Work with Government External Audits as required.
Ensuring that all back-up documentation has been complied and store in approved location.
PAFA cycle reviewer.
Main point of focus is the activities for MX, however, will be active backup for customer (revenue) US & CA cycle reviewer.
Legal entities under scope are MX.
Legal entities could change due to business needs.
Action plan creation and follow up of open items Ensure the quality of the closing activities, set processes in place to ensure accurate Financial Information of the companies within the MX Cycle Review.
Prepare and provide explanations for month end close Attend monthly meetings with GR of production companies and prepare/provide explanations for GR for small companies.
For external audit, execute and deliver all the PWC requirements or any other Local requirements upon agreement by the line manager.
Also provide information for Local Financial Statement preparation For Internal audit, you will have to execute and deliver all the internal control requirements, have weekly meetings and relationship with Conduent and ensure consistence and correct application on Doc de Base Ensure R2R Shared service center department complies with Michelin Quality system.
IFRS16.
Ensure the quality/accuracy of the leased assets information in Kshuttle in collaboration with general reviewer.
Perform critical, control and preparation tasks for MX leased assets REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS.
Bachelor’s degree.
3-4 years of experience accounting.
Intermediate English performance.
