I performed risk surveys for the company. This included risk assessments for insurance proposes. My activities involved a physical survey of the process plant, discussions with the plant management, and review of relevant documentation. As a concluding product a Final Report had to be written in the English language. The report included a description of the risk, the risk improvement recommendations and property loss estimate of property damage with the determination of the Estimated Maximum Loss, Business interruption, Machinery Breakdown and NatCat Loss Estimates. The Final report could be for the international insurance market or for the AIG underwriters. Some of the surveys performed included, but not limited:

As Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Manager, my duties included to lead the site in SHE aspects, establishing the SHE management committee, developed and to implement the SHE system for Pemex (Pemex SSPA). I was also a SHE instructor for new workers and refresh training for the technical staff. I performed as SHE manager at two large Pemex Gas Processing Complexes (Nuevo Pemex and Reynosa-Burgos). As SHE manager, I had direct communication with the site general manager as advisor and was in charge of resolving the mayor SHE issues of the process. In 2005, I was transferred to the corporate Safety office in Mexico City (ASIPA or Safety and Environmental Auditor Office). I was responsible for performing Process Safety and Risk assessments in Hydrocarbon Process plants, Storage and distribution terminals, pipelines and related surface facilities. The assessments team had to write comprehensive reports for the Pemex Gas y Petroquimica Basica CEO. Other duties included reviewing and writing Safety and Fire Protection Standards for Pemex, and benchmarking with International Standards
