WEB SCRAPING AND DATA ANALYST PYTHON SENIOR - REMOTO

The client is seeking a skilled Web Scraping and Data Analyst to extract, analyze, and manage data from auction sites. The ideal candidate will develop a system to track auction properties, collect bid histories, and monitor unsold properties for re-listing. This role involves building efficient scraping tools, maintaining data pipelines, and delivering actionable insights based on the collected data.         Primary Responsabilities :    Develop and implement web scraping tools to extract auction property data, including property details , bidding histories, and auction outcomes .    Monitor unsold properties and track their re-listings , comparing past and current auction details .    Build a database to store and organize data for easy analysis .    Provide actionable insights by analyzing historical bids to identify trends and estimate potential property values .    Deliver reports and dashboards summarizing key findings .   Requirements :   Python (3+ years )     Web Scraping Libraries ( Beautiful Soup , Scrapy , Selenium - 2+ years )     Data Analysis Tools (Pandas, NumPy - 2+ years )   SQL/ Database Management (PostgreSQL, MySQL - 2+ years )   Must be tech-savvy and experienced in web scraping .   Strong IT knowledge is essential .   Ability to extract meaningful and actionable data without overwhelming volume .   Familiarity with startups and their operations is a plus.   Nice to Have :    API Integration Experience   Data Visualization Tools ( e.g ., Tableau , Power BI)    Bonus: Experience with Real Estate Platforms and Auction Sites Machine Learning for Predictive Analytics .     Soft Skills :    Attention to detail   Strong problem-solving skills   Effective communication and reporting   Self-motivation and ability to work independently     Degree / Certification : Bachelor’s degree in computer science , Data Science , or a related field ( preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience ). Certifications in Data Analytics orWeb Scraping ( e.g ., DataCamp , Coursera) (CERTS: not required , NICE TO HAVE).
