Por qué te necesitamos? The VP, National Accounts for CertainTeed is responsible for the development and implementation of the CertainTeed retail and national accounts strategy that aligns business strategies with our ambition of accretive growth in retail channels.
The main focus of this role is to increase the company's profitable footprint in retail and develop both a strategic and digital strategy aligned with products and plants.
CertainTeed has historically been focused on building our brand and relationships with the Pro.
This has resulted in the development of an excellent pro-centric brand that performs well in pro-centric channels such as 1-step and 2-step distribution.
Following rapid consolidation in the distribution channels, the need for customer and channel diversification is of increasing importance.
The retail channel presents an excellent opportunity to diversify our channel mix, strengthen Pro access to the CertainTeed brand, and achieve accretive business growth.
This position will lead our growth and penetration in the retail channels.
The position will own the relationship with our top customers at the corporate level and work closely with our Business Unit General Managers and VPs to align Business Unit strategies to Retail strategy and to create a winning playbook for CertainTeed in the channel.
This position will manage a team of National Account Managers, a Field Operations Team, and a Channel Management team.
The National Accounts team will be responsible for understanding, supporting, and developing appropriate programs for each retail partner.
The VP, National Accounts will work across the Business Units to execute these programs and to deliver best-in-class service and experience to our retail partners.

Develop and execute our channel strategy with retail partners Cultivate relationships at all levels internally and externally to manage existing business and execute against growth plans and targets.
Deliver proactive retail insights that keep the BU and retail teams on offense with the customers Lead the PLR and Business Review processes with retail partners Communicate broadly with internal partners on our strategy, status, and key actions to drive growth Participate in the annual budget-setting process and assure compliance and coordination with each division's strategic objectives Execute and monitor all respective internal controls, ensuring efficient/effective activities that support organizational objectives, while adhering to applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures Work with marketing, analytics and supply chain to analyze market, customer and other data to create sales strategy and tactics to deliver agreed-upon volume and profit targets.
Through strong relationships with key accounts and general market knowledge, propose and justify new products, services, and strategies that create differentiated customer value, business profit, and expanded market positioning.
Manage and monitor any key incentive programs to ensure they drive our strategy Team Leadership Lead by example through clearly defined roles and responsibilities, engagement at all levels, detailed communication on goals and objectives, and alignment around a retail-ready strategy.
Develop, coach, support and manage direct reports.
Channel Manager, National Account Managers, Store Operations Manager.
Provide guidance and performance management as needed to elevate the performance of the team.
Build and develop the National Accounts team to set CertainTeed up for long-term success with our key retail partners Key interface with corporate management Enhance the safety culture of CertainTeed/Saint Gobain by personally committing to and demonstrating safe work practices Break down silos, be customer-centric, entrepreneurial, reliable, agile, innovative, and courageous to bring a new mindset to the organization   Required Qualifications    "Your Skills Matter" What do you bring? Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent training required which will provide a working knowledge of pricing policies and strategies.
Master's Degree a plus.
15+ years of industry experience with 10+ years minimum of management experience Detail-oriented and deadline-sensitive.
Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability multi-task and work on several projects at a time.
Communication skills, including online meeting management.
Requires adaptability and methodical/analytical problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
