This position reports to IS Vistex Center of Excellence Manager - Global Your role and responsibilities IS Vistex Solution Architect being part of the Global Vistex CoE Practice within the OTC space under Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for managing ABB’s Global Rebates Management Solutions for Electrification Business.
We are looking for a highly capable Solution Architect to optimize our business processes by integrating customized Vistex solutions on SAP ECC and S/4 HANA Platform.
The ideal candidate is responsible for Global Vistex CoE Operation Excellence, delivering 24x7 business operations support in collaboration with IT Vistex AMS External Vendor, Compliance, Service Now, SLAs, Change Management for Rebates functions for ABB’s Electrification Business.
Assisting in resolving major incidents and critical situations, providing input and expertise to solutions when there is a major impact on Information Systems solutions/services You will take responsibility to own and maintain the Global Template for EL Rebates and manage changes via CR’s e.
addition of new Rebate Types and calculations schema changes from time to time as needed.
The work model for the role is.
#LI-remote You will be mainly accountable for.
• Develop & Maintain Global Rebate Template.
Create and manage a standardized 'Global Rebates & SPA Template' based on business requirements and the ABB Global Rebate Policy, ensuring minimal country-specific variations.
• Promote Vistex Adoption.
Ensure high adoption of the Vistex system across countries, minimizing manual accruals and payouts, and eliminating off-system rebate processes.
• Conduct System Audits & Compliance.
Perform regular system audits to ensure adherence to ABB’s internal controls and compliance standards.
• Collaborate on Global Rebate Implementations.
Work closely with the ABB Vistex CoE Manager, IT partners, and business teams to plan, implement, and support global rebate solutions across geographies.
• Bridge Technical & Business Needs.
Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and use data analytics to support decisions on new or changed IS solutions, ensuring integration with SAP and Vistex.
• Oversee Project Execution & Training.
Guide IT teams in following ABB guidelines, ensure timely progress of projects, and support country SMEs with training and UAT for system changes.

Qualifications for the role Master's or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience and last 3 years as a Solution Architect or similar roles.
**Less Experience can be considered for highly qualified candidates with verifiable experience and interview assessment.
In-depth knowledge of end-to-end rebate processes, including contract setup, approval workflows, rebate conditions, accruals, and settlement processes, with experience in integrating new rebate types into a global template.
Strong expertise in SAP and Vistex configurations, particularly related to Order-to-Cash, FI, COPA, and rebate processes, ensuring seamless integration with SAP FI and analytics tools.
Proven experience in leading requirements gathering, FIT-GAP analysis, and creating solution documentation, including AS-Is and To-Be process mapping.
Strong team spirit with experience leading and collaborating in a multicultural, multinational environment, serving diverse stakeholders across global teams.
English Fluency and additionally one more European Language e.
Italian / German / French will be added advantage.
