Are you ready to make your next career move to join our team as Tester (Quality inspector) in Mexico City? As our next tester (Quality inspector) you will carry out tests and the final inspection on our installed products on site.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to.
Concern for on-site safety by applying good safety practices.
Manage on-site communication with the customer for daily testing and commissioning activities with continuous coordination with the field supervisor.
Test the equipment (Elevator or Escalator) according to codes and standards to ensure that it is mechanically and electrically safe, that it meets KONE's internal and external quality standards and that the equipment is operating according to contractual requirements.
Training, coaching and courses according to the company's processes and manuals.
Perform final inspection and sign final inspection documents.
Perform or participate in inspections by notified bodies or consultants.
Also participates in customer handover if required.
Identify installation quality problems and deviations for corrective actions and report them to the field supervisor, who is responsible for all site activities.
Actively participate in Quality working groups to improve based on the lists of problems produced, other technical problems encountered in the verifications and the exchange of information with interested parties.
Apply lean principles to avoid work interruptions and consistently pursue and promote meeting initiatives.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS.
At least 3 years of experience in Product Quality Inspections.
Experience in dealing and constant communication with production/processing areas.
Experience in preparing quality reports and KPI´s.
Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Basic-intermediate level in English (especially written English that can be read and understood).
It is essential to have knowledge in the use of the following tools.
multimeter, flexometer, vernier, screwdrivers.
Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (Advanced on Excel).
