Senior SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant Location.
Remote Duration.
Between 6 and 9 months plus extensions Language Requirement.
Conversational English Description.
We are seeking a Senior SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant with extensive experience in SAP SD and GTS to lead implementations, support projects, and deliver innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
This role involves collaboration with global teams, end-users, and management to design, configure, and optimize SAP systems while ensuring alignment with client standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities.
·        Work directly with users across all levels to implement projects and develop innovative solutions.
·        Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP best practices and data models.
·        Facilitate blueprinting sessions; create and update blueprints, functional, and technical design documents.
·        Configure SAP SD and MM modules to meet business requirements.
·        Design and develop test plans for unit, integration, system, data conversion, or acceptance testing.
·        Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute project tasks within tight deadlines.
·        Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
·        Perform production support activities, including troubleshooting, break/fix solutions, and system optimization.
·        Support end-to-end processes across multiple SAP instances and platforms.
·        Collaborate with regional teams to ensure integration and adherence to local regulations.
·        Provide leadership, coaching, and knowledge-sharing for team members.
·        Perform project management tasks, as required.
Required Skills & Competencies.
·        Expert knowledge in SAP SD, including Master Data, Order Management, Contracts, VC, Returns, ATP, Pricing, Tax Jurisdiction, Credit, Delivery, Billing, and Account Determination.
·        Experience in SAP GTS Compliance and Customs Management.
·        Knowledge of EDI standards, data mapping, and system integration using EDI/ALE/IDOC.
·        Hands-on experience in legacy ERP migration and data migration processes using tools like LSMW and eCATT.
·        Strong integration experience with SAP modules such as FI, MM, and PP.
·        Ability to derive functional requirements through user interviews and process mapping.
·        Proficient in technical specifications for forms, reports, interfaces, workflows, and extensions.
·        Excellent communication and problem-resolution skills.
·        Experience leading teams and managing full lifecycle SAP implementations.
·        Knowledge of Vertex Tax Solution is a plus.
·        Strong understanding of change management and project management processes.
Education & Experience.
·        Education.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
·        Experience.
o    Senior Level.
Minimum 10 years in SAP SD/MM consulting.
o    At least 5 years of SAP GTS consulting experience.
o    Led a minimum of 5 full lifecycle SAP ECC and GTS implementations.
o    Experience in discrete manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
