SR FINANCIAL ANALYST MAIN PURPOSE Responsible for supporting Orbia Global and Corporate SG&A Functional Cost reporting, analysis, and planning processes.
DIMENSIONS OF JOB ► Support global cost center / functional area reporting, analysis, and planning processes across Orbia ► Support standard reporting and definitions for global functional cost areas ► Support / implement robust forecasting and budgeting processes including improvement of data quality, integration with headcount information and coordination of budget/forecast timelines with Business Groups and Orbia Group FP&A ► Analyze Orbia functional areas including monthly/quarterly variance analysis of SG&A costs ► Collaborate with SG&A Functional Leaders including providing accurate reporting, clear and insightful analysis, recommendations for cost savings, forecasting guidance, etc.
► Collaborate with and assist Global Functional Leaders in preparing their global functional budgets ► Collaborate with People Team to systematically track and align headcount for proper recording of cost actuals, forecasts, and budget ► Assist in developing driver-based processes to improve granularity, visibility, communication, and accountability for SG&A functional costs ► Assist Global Functional Leaders in understanding cost structures across their global function; at sub-functional levels, as well as account and cost center levels ► Collaborate with corporate controlling team in developing improved processes for inter-company allocations and “cost pooling” to facilitate management reporting needs for global functional teams ► Support the monthly Orbia reporting process including assisting Global Functional Leaders with story-lining/commentary for global functional costs ► Support the quarterly Orbia reporting process including preparation of the Board of Director presentation and accompanying analysis ► Identify accounting errors and collaborate with corporate control team to ensure appropriate classification of expenses, accruals and capital expenditures ► Collaborate with corporate control team to ensure proper allocation of Global Service Costs to each of the Business Groups ► Advise business unit finance teams in harmonizing cost center definitions and in their efforts to reconfigure local cost center structures to support global reporting standards ► Develop knowledge and understanding of each functional area to provide insights and cost saving recommendations EDUCATION Minimum.
Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/accounting or related field KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED • Has the knowledge and ability to provide sound advice for the job dimensions above • Experience with SAP (BPC / CFIN / BW) financial ERP / Consolidation tools • Experience with financial analytical & reporting tools (SAP Analytics Cloud a plus) • Thorough understanding of financial cost structures for SG&A costs (cost centers, chart of accounts, etc.) • Understanding of financial KPI metrics particularly in area of SG&A cost management • Understanding of management reporting • Effectively communicate amongst a complex matrix organization • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint • Understanding of accounting reporting methods (IFRS, GAAP) • Understand reporting systems and consolidation to analyze data for internal stakeholders EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • 5+ years as an Financial Analyst or 2+ years as a Sr Financial Analyst • Experience in large, decentralized, matrix organizations a plus • Preferably with multi-national/global companies, with experience in a corporate environment or supporting multiple business units / functions • Experience communicating/partnering with Executive/C-Suite Level LANGUAGES REQUIRED Language.
