We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a  Sr. DevOps Engineer. This role is open to Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey only.  Job Summary We are seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java 11, AWS AI Platform, AWS Jenkins CloudBees and Amazon Kubernetes Services. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. Responsibilities Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins CloudBees to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. Implement and manage infrastructure as code using AWS services to support scalable and secure applications. Utilize Amazon Kubernetes Services to orchestrate containerized applications and ensure high availability. Collaborate with development teams to integrate Java 11 applications into the DevOps pipeline. Monitor and optimize system performance using AWS AI Platform to enhance application reliability. Automate deployment processes to reduce manual intervention and increase deployment speed. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure applications and deployment processes. Ensure compliance with security best practices and policies in all DevOps activities. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on DevOps best practices. Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to maintain optimal system health. Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools and technologies to continuously improve processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business objectives. Qualifications Possess strong experience in Java 11 and its integration within DevOps pipelines. Demonstrate expertise in AWS services including AWS AI Platform and Amazon Kubernetes Services. Have hands-on experience with Jenkins CloudBees for CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance. Show proficiency in automating deployment processes and managing infrastructure as code. Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills to resolve infrastructure and application issues. Have knowledge of security best practices and compliance in DevOps activities. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a plus. Ability to work in a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel requirements. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest DevOps tools and technologies. Proven ability to conduct system audits and performance tuning for optimal system health. Experience in implementing disaster recovery and backup strategies. Technical guidance and support skills to assist development teams in DevOps best practices.
