SPECIALIST, HAZARD COMMUNICATION

Responsibilities.
Hazard and Transport Classification of products using data obtained via industry associations, vendors, regulatory mandates and the IFF Toxicology team.
Classifications are completed daily based on priority.
Authoring of SDS and GHS labels.
Initial authoring plus updates.
Poison control notification (PCN) as required for products marketed in the EU or Korea.
Providing customer support for inquires and specific document requests.
These typically originate from the shared mailbox and are handled on a daily basis.
Other HazCom related duties as assigned.

3-5 Education.
BSc Chemistry, chemical engineering, biology (Organic Chemistry) Advance level of English Desirable.
