Join our world-class team today and fulfill your career potential! The Opportunity \"We are seeking a strong Quality assurance engineer with a positive mindset and relevant experience willing to join a newly formed team to contribute to one of the critical foundational services for FICO Platform.
In this role, you will be responsible for building, quality testing and optimizing our cloud-native platform using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Java, gRPC and more.
You will be able to demonstrate the required potential and technical curiosity to work on software that utilizes a range of leading-edge technologies and integration frameworks.

What You’ll Contribute Design, develop, test, deploy, and support the capabilities of a large world-class enterprise-level platform.
Create scalable microservices of high performance, high availability, interoperability, and reliability.
Contribute designs and technical proof of concepts, and adhere to standards and guidance from architecture team members.
Participate with Senior engineers and Product Management to create epics and stories, and define their technical acceptance criteria.
Experienced with enterprise architectural models and distributed software design.
Serve as source of technical expertise, mentor junior engineers, and raise quality standards.
Manage ambiguity and moderate levels of complexity, and proactively discover and attack issues.
Share ownership in quality, test automation, continuous integration and delivery, and production operation.
Quickly escalate challenges and risks incurred during projects.
What We’re Seeking Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science or related disciplines, or relevant software development experience.
Solid understanding of software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.
Relevant technical experience in Quality Assurance.
Solid understanding of different software testing methods.
Practical experience of automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber and Cypress.
Proficient in various programming languages for test automation such as Java and Python.
Experience in the design, development, and enhancement of an automation framework.
A quality-driven work ethic with meticulous attention to detail.
High levels of curiosity to probe for potential software defects.
Capable of working independently and with minimum supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Kubernetes control plane and eco-system.
Experience working with REST and gRPC APIs.
