bout the roleVersatile Software Developer for our cutting-edge software solutions and support through the conceptualization, design, development, testing and validation of control and operational embedded software for our Commercial HVAC systems.
This role should possess broad experience in the development of embedded control systems (mostly embedded Linux on touch screen displays) and have a track record of working with geographically dispersed development teams.
You should also have an appetite for learning new technologies with the goal of applying them to Carrier’s product offerings.
You will be expected to utilize test-driven development, conduct code reviews, and apply team standards and best practices.

n-depth knowledge of object-oriented design techniques and programming languages such as C++ (or equivalent)2+ years of experience in Software DevelopmentKnowledgeable in open-source technology including Linux and RTOS.
Proficient in software optimization, software security, and writing secure code.
dvanced English (required)Although not necessary, it would be nice if you haveDemonstrated ability in troubleshooting and debugging using test equipment such as Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Hardware Simulator etc.
