Summary of the role.
Quality&Launch – Zhangjiakou Product quality and customer satisfaction are, of course, fundamental to Volvo Cars’ success.
The ZJK Quality&Launch team is an integral part in Engineering of Volvo cars who represent Engineering in ZJK plant to drive overall quality performance and handle the product quality issues from internal & external customers.
And we are the key person of the cooperative partners contact window with various stakeholders such as Engineering, Manufacturing&Logistics, Quality and Customer service area.
This role is within our Quality&Launch-ZJK team, co-located in ZJK plant with ZJK Aftermarket Quality (AMQ) team.
You will report to Engineering site manager and work seamlessly with Propulsion&Energy and Vehicle Platform global organization as a matrix.
As SPQ, you will challenge the product & process to continuously improve quality performance, see how the results in terms of quality and customer satisfaction will contribute both to the company’s growth and to your own professional development.
What you will do Responsible for overall product quality performance, especially in Propulsion&Energy and Platform Defined and Scoped end customer concerns/potential end customer concerns Early Claim Binning (ECB) binning and analysis  Lead product quality issues and intake to ZJK AMQ Drive the progress and result of root cause analysis, Emergency Response Action (ERA), Interim Containment Action (ICA) and Permanent Containment Action (PCA) Support issue handling from Product Audit, Vehicle Report, CoDev report and Customer Survey Represent ART in plant kick off meeting and pre-meeting, initiate actions as Risk Assessment, Quality Bulletin (QB), Technical Journal (TJ), TIE news Secure the deviation handling both in Hardware and Software.
Support launch activities in Model Year and Running Change Project   What you'll bring Having product engineering and/or actual product quality issue handling background 5+ years of experience in automotive industry Hands on experience with technical field (Propulsion (Electric driveline) and/or Vehicle Platform) Team player with skills in driving results and collaboration.
Fluent on English(speaking/writing/listening)  Generic competence, Communication, Quality sense, Ownership Nice to have.
