This position reports to Service Manager Pulp & Paper Your role and responsibilities Do you have a service-oriented attitude and do you enjoy helping people solve a variety of issues? Then we are looking for you.
As a Technical support and tendering engineer, you will work on quotations for service issues for Pulp & Paper installations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in conjunction with the Pulp & Paper Service and Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology.
Each day, you will support securing and developing commercial service activities, prepare final documentation, and serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area.
You will also showcase your expertise by maintaining of service agreements, performing lost proposal analysis, and recommending future actions.
This role is contributing to the Process Automation Division Process Industry (PAPI) Product Group P&P in Mannheim.
Main stakeholders are the Pulp & Paper customers in Germany You will be mainly accountable for.
• Support securing and developing commercial service activities with strong focus on analyzing and maintaining of service contracts, sale of services • Spare Parts Handling and order Handling at the various factories • Supporting the P&P Service Team Leader by operational tasks • Supporting the local Service organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.
• Preparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.
• Provide your sales colleagues with the correct technical information and support customer contact where necessary.

Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled in working with SAP, Business Online, and Salesforce, and you enjoy engaging with the paper industry market.
You have several years of experience in technical commercial engineering or process automation, demonstrating your established skills in these fields.
You are passionate about delivering exceptional service and are captivated by the opportunity to help others.
Your innovative approach to service sets you apart.
You hold a degree, a demonstrated track record, or extensive knowledge in electrical engineering or process automation, such as a technician qualification or a similar degree in these areas.
You are at ease communicating in German and have good English language skills.
You are open to occasional travel to conduct customer visits, ensuring strong relationships and high levels of service.
