SENIOR PLANNER BUYER
Descripción de la oferta de empleo
Leadership and Team Management.
Lead and mentor a team of planners and buyers, providing direction and support to achieve departmental goals.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities for team members.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
Planning and Procurement.
Monitor and analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts, and production schedules to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to align procurement activities with operational requirements.
Process Improvement.
Continuously assess and improve procurement processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement best practices and industry standards to optimize supply chain operations.
Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Focused in Supply Chain lean and continuous improvement processes.
Compliance and Reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement and inventory management.
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance to senior management.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to materials transactions.
Qualifications.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent supply chain experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.
., ERP systems).
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Certification in supply chain management (e.
., APICS, CPSM) is a plus.
Strong problem solving abilities.
Working Conditions.
Office environment with occasional travel to supplier sites and other company locations.
