What are we looking for?We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and help us build a robust, scalable, and reliable data platform.
We need someone passionate about solving complex problems with data and technology, driving best practices, and fostering technical excellence.
Responsibilities.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines.
Optimize and manage data infrastructure in Databricks and Spark to support large-scale data processing.
Collaborate with analytics, data science, and product teams to ensure access to high-quality data.
Implement advanced SQL and Python solutions for data processing and analysis.
Participate in designing and implementing modern cloud-based data architectures.
Monitor, debug, and optimize existing pipelines to ensure timely data delivery.
Promote software development best practices, including automated testing, code review, and documentation.
Work closely with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Required skills and experience.
At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in similar roles.
Advanced expertise in SQL for modeling and analyzing complex data.
Hands-on experience developing and optimizing data pipelines with Spark.
Strong programming skills in Python for data processing.
Experience with platforms like Databricks and Airflow.
Proficient with AWS tools such as RDS, DMS, Lambda, CodeArtifact.
Skills and experience working with Infrastructure As a Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Ability to solve complex technical challenges and handle large data volumes.
Preferred (but not required).
Knowledge of modeling and transformation tools like dbt.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
