We are seeking an amazing person that is an experienced accountant, to join our team as a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing various accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards, and overseeing staff accountants in their work and training. We are a US based accounting firm that offers competitive salaries and great benefits like up to 5 weeks of paid time off We have a US team in Texas and our Mexico team is in Playa del Carmen. We also offer training and support so that you continue to grow your skills as an accountant. You must possess strong problemsolving skills and strong analytical skills. You also must have the ability to work independently and within a team Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting Prepare and analyze monthly Financials. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance. Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions. Training and support to Staff Accountants Review monthend and yearend closing Financials for mangers approvals Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience Experience in accounting software, QuckBooks would be an asset but is not required Strong understanding of MS office especially Excel Must like people and have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
