#WelcomeToCognizant!We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Scrum Master Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise (Breadth and depth of knowledge, application and complexity of technical knowledge) Understanding and executing the agile development process as it relates to SDLC Leadership (Vision, strategy and business alignment, people management, communication, influencing others, managing change) Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization Decision-making and Autonomy (The capacity and authority to make organizational decisions, autonomy in decision-making, complexity of decisions, impact of decisions, problem-soliving) Lead agile ceremonies, including daily scrum, sprint review, planning meetings, retrospectives, team and project kick-offs Support Product Owner on release planning and customer engagement, and take ownership on delivering the product Remove impediments (e.
., cultural barriers, logistic challenges) Interaction (The span and nature of one’s engagement with others when performing one’s job, internal and external relationships) Foster close cooperation across all team members, encouraging cross-training and mutual support Facilitate communication and collaboration inside and outside the team Shield the team from external interference and ensuring the team is fully functional and productive Foster an environment of successful delivery and continuous improvement Innovation (The required level of scientific knowledge, knowledge sharing, innovation and risk taking) Familiarity with design thinking and customer centric approaches is a plus Complexity (Products managed, mix of businesses, internal and/or external business environment, cultural considerations) Scrum master for 2+ individual PDT IT Products, with both internal and external stakeholders Regional and/or global responsibility Essential · Minimum 3 years of IT experience with Bachelors Degree or 7 years IT experience without Bachelors Degree.
· Minimum 2 years experience leading small-mid-sized projects and/or agile teams · Experience with agile methodology and product management · Ability to analyze and think quickly to resolve conflict · Ability to work with and lead a team Why Cognizant?
