As the SAP Platform Operations Lead, you should have a vision and working experience with industry standard tools to transform and innovate our SAP landscape.
You will be a key player in driving operational excellence, continuously improving processes, and collaborating across business to support the company’s strategic goals.

What you’ll do Just to be clear – this is not a typical “SAP BASIS” role, but having a BASIS knowledge along with below given criteria will make you a strong candidate for this role.
As the SAP Platform Operations Lead, you will oversee and manage all facets of SAP operations, ensuring seamless performance, reliability, and high availability of SAP applications across Volvo Cars.
In your capacity, you will be responsible for change management, problem management, and conducting in-depth root cause analysis while meticulously managing SLAs and KPIs to guarantee the seamless execution of operational deliveries.
In this role you will develop annual roadmaps for critical maintenance activities including SAP kernel updates, cybersecurity patching, infrastructure-related patching, and SAP version upgrades etc.
Additionally, you will ensure the security and regular auditing of database backups, disaster recovery plans (DRP), and infrastructure recovery plans (IRP), which are vital for maintaining a robust and sustainable SAP environment that supports business operations at Volvo Cars.
Lastly, you stay up to date with the latest SAP trends and technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our business and recommending relevant solutions.

What you’ll bring The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong background in SAP operations.
You have a proven track record of successfully leading SAP operations and working with different SAP modules and processes.
We see excellent leadership, communication and project management skills together with technical knowledge about SAP as a winning combination.
On top of the above, we believe that you have.
·    A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
·    An ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
·    A solid understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and best practices.
·    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex SAP issues.
·    Knowledge of industry-related regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
·    Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
