About the role Key responsibilities 1) Control ·ââEnsure stock valuation and processes comply with statutory requirements and Kerry procedures.
·ââEnsure strong internal controls are in place and maintained to mitigate business risk around stock valuation.
·ââSupport Central Financial control with external and internal audits of stock valuation.
2) Data Integrity ·ââFull responsibility for the data quality in Product Cost Estimates and the Material Ledger.
·ââResponsible for liaising with Central IT support to ensure transactional issues in the SAP configuration are corrected.
·â Completing reconciliations of the material ledger monthly to ensure that all data issues are investigated and resolved.
In addition, completing root cause analysis of issues to reduce the number of ongoing issues.
3) Processes ·ââRunning and distributing weekly reports for monitoring the material ledger.
·ââDelivering the central month end processes to ensure material ledger closes on time.
·ââSupport Operations finance plant teams with material ledger issue resolution and training.
·ââCompleting month end material ledger reconciliations.
·ââSupporting Commercial finance with stock and cost of sales valuation queries.
Qualifications and skills Education ·ââQualified accountant or related careers.
·ââAdvanced level in accounting.
·ââFluent English with other language capability (like French and Portuguese) as advantage Technical Competencies ·ââ3+ years general SAP experience of which 2+ years should be experience of material ledger control or cost analysis.
·ââExcel skills advanced ·ââProficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
IA skills as advantage.
Personal Competencies ·ââStrong analytical and decision-making skills.
·ââExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on technical and business issues ·ââWell organized and skilled at prioritizing ·ââAttention to details.
·ââAbility to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
·ââGood communication skills within a team environment ·ââLimited Americas wide travel may be required.
