We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of sales and retail distribution, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team, managing data, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities.
Assist the sales team in daily operations, including managing schedules, organizing sales data, and preparing reports.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, to maintain and analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and generate financial reports.
Conduct thorough research on the internet and within databases to gather relevant market and competitor information.
Understand and apply concepts of sales margins, retail, wholesale, and distribution channels to support strategic decision-making.
Analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to identify trends, forecast sales, and recommend adjustments to improve profitability.
Learn and execute complex, repetitive procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
Prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring that all goals and deadlines are met.
Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self-motivation and goal orientation.
Support the development and execution of sales strategies to drive business growth.
The Profile Qualifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.
Ability to learn and perform complex, repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.
Solid understanding of sales, margins, and the ability to interpret P&L statements.
Familiarity with retail, wholesale, and retail distribution channels.
Skilled in conducting internet and database research.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Preferred Qualifications.
Previous experience in a sales assistant or similar role.
Experience in the retail or wholesale industry.
Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools.
