Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with 5 to 9 years of experience to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Test Automation Test Metrics and Reporting Jira Test and Defect Management and Agile Methodologies.
Experience with Ruby is essential.
Domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus.
This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure the highest quality of software deliverables.
Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
Manage test and defect management processes using Jira to track and resolve issues effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within Agile methodologies.
Utilize Ruby for Scripting and automation tasks to streamline testing processes.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage by identifying and prioritizing test scenarios based on risk and impact.
Conduct regular reviews of test cases and scripts to ensure they meet the required standards and best practices.
Mentor and guide junior testers to enhance their skills and knowledge in test automation and management.
Coordinate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and provide timely feedback on potential issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes and tools.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in test automation and management.
Qualifications Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation test metrics and reporting and test and defect management.
Demonstrate proficiency in using Jira for test and defect management.
Have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in software testing.
Exhibit expertise in Scripting and automation using Ruby.
Show domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance (nice to have).
Display excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
Hold a relevant certification in software testing or test automation (eg ISTQB Certified Agile Tester).
