RISK REPORTING MANAGER - C12 - CIUDAD DE MEXICO

The Risk Reporting Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility.
Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s).
Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services.
May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise.
Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.
Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets.
Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.
Responsibilities.
Contributes to the analysis and preparation of reports for Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc.
that detail risks inherent in Credit, Market, Operational or other Risk Portfolios.
Reporting can cover a variety of areas including but not limited to.
portfolio concentrations, limit exceptions, stress testing, loss reserves or high-risk exposures.
Roles Assists in Credit Bureau Reporting initiatives.
Participates in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers Interacts with other members of the Risk Reporting team as well as Senior Management, Risk Managers, Front Office Business Managers, Technology, Financial Control and other groups within the firm.
Produces daily and weekly market risk reports, which monitor, factor sensitivity, VAR and issuer exposures against independent market risk limits Provides information to Risk Management and the business for audit, stress testing and ad-hoc related queries Develops and maintain close working relationship with Risk Management, Business Units and other Control functions.
Raise, investigate and follow-up on issues related to data quality, limit excesses, etc.
Maintains data metrics measuring the market risk infrastructure and performance of risk systems and processes for the businesses Devises and improve processes to aggregate factor sensitivity and issuer risk across various trading platforms.
Evaluates redundancies and inefficiencies in daily tasks to continually improve productivity Develops an understanding of financial markets and market factors that affect risk exposure of ICG trading businesses.
Learn market risk terms, units of measurement and risk management techniques utilized by independent risk managers Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications.
5 - 8 years’ work experience in finance or a related control discipline (e.
.
Risk Management, Risk reporting, Financial Control, Operations, etc.) Good Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to quickly develop advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Access are a must, Familiarity with Visual Basic is preferred Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis or a track record that demonstrates high aptitude to learn these skills Attention to detail and accuracy are essential Quick learner with excellent communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization Education.
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience Licenciatura en Actuaría y/o Matemáticas Experiencia en lenguaje de programación SAS Conocimiento de la regulación local (CUB) conocimiento en carteras de crédito de consumo ------------------------------------------------------ Job Family Group.
