We are currently searching for a Remote Senior Azure Data Factory (ADF) Developer.
Responsibilities.
Design and manage data models, data logging, and data validation processes.
Build and optimize data pipelines, including wrangling, transformations, and consumption layers.
Define data quality and master data rules for matching, merging, and de-duplicating.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
Implement data warehousing solutions, leveraging MS-Azure stack, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
Develop and document solutions, including architecture, design diagrams, and code comments.
Guide and support team members in managing development tasks, dependencies, and technical issues.
Requirements.
Bachelor’s degree with 4-8+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or related fields, supporting Marketing or similar organizations.
Strong understanding of data architecture, business systems, and software design patterns.
Proficiency in defining data quality standards and managing data orchestration using ADF.
Proficient with Azure services, specifically Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
Experience with big data analytics, data warehousing, and modern data warehouse/Lambda architecture.
Skilled in technical documentation, including solution design, architecture diagrams, and detailed code comments.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Problem-solving skills in a big data environment.
Desired.
Experience with PowerShell or comparable scripting languages.
Knowledge of additional Azure services, such as Azure Data Lake Analytics, U-SQL, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
Languages Advanced Oral English.
Native Spanish.
