We are currently searching for a Power BI Developer.
Responsibilities.
Develop Power BI solutions, including data modeling, creating relationships between data sources, and designing visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports.
Perform data analysis and visualization to understand complex business requirements and translate them into meaningful insights.
Integrate data from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, and APIs into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Use SQL for data querying and manipulation, and work with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
Design and implement efficient data models in Power BI, including creating calculated columns, measures, and hierarchies.
Utilize Power Query for data transformation and cleansing, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex calculations in Power BI.
Implement data governance principles and security measures to protect sensitive data in Power BI.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and present insights and recommendations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI development, data integration, and performance optimization.
Continuously learn and adapt to new Power BI features, updates, and best practices.
Requirements.
9-12 years of experience in Power BI development.
Strong analytical skills for data analysis and visualization.
Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database concepts.
Experience in data integration from various sources and knowledge of ETL processes.
Familiarity with data governance and security measures in Power BI.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
Desired.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Experience in the insurance domain.
Experience with other Microsoft BI tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
Languages Advanced Oral English.
Native Spanish.
