Job Description Oversees, manages and directs a regional sales team for all Respiratory sales activity.
The Regional Vice President of Respiratory Sales is the regional facilitator with a geographical influence on the Olympus sales strategy with a focus on Respiratory sales to Pulmonologists and Thoracic Surgeons.
They are responsible for revenue growth of all Respiratory products market share growth and new procedure and product adoption.
They are responsible for maintaining relationships with the Health Care Professionals within their geographical responsibility and working closely with their other Olympus sales counterparts.
Job Duties Develops regional business plan consistent with the direction of MSG leadership and Vice President of Sales.
Plans directs and manages the activities of the Respiratory Territory Managers to achieve the business plan.
Responsible for Revenue growth of assigned Respiratory products as well as overall profitability of their region.
Responsible for the recruitment hiring training development and disciplinary activity for their direct reports.
Supports the company's HR and Professional Ethics policies and programs.
Plans and conducts periodic regional sales meetings to educate train and stimulate their direct reports.
Conducts weekly Cadence Calls to identify and qualify opportunities and move business through the process to successful completion.
Ensures full participation in the CRM program by the Respiratory Territory Mangers.
Has a deep understanding of the regional business opportunities and delivers an accurate sales forecast based on this knowledge to Vice President on a regular basis.
Cultivates promotes and maintains Health Care Professional relationships on behalf of MSG within the Region by periodic personal visits.
Maintains a productive and beneficial relationship with clinicians and business executives within the Region.
Job Qualifications Required.
Bachelor's degree.
MBA a plus.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a proven successful Medical Sales Representative in a related field.
Clinical or medical device selling/marketing experience required.
Demonstrated proficiency in developing and following quarterly and annual business plans.
Significant travel within region and nationally up to 100% Must be available during the working hours of your team (different time zones etc.) Preferred.
People management strongly preferred.
Market Development experience strongly preferred.
Proven track record of success.
Ability to maintain and expand existing businesses.
Ability to drive new procedure adoption.
Works well in teams.
A specialized knowledge of chest anatomy/physiology and related diseases is preferred.
Has experience with and is comfortable with CRM software (e.
Salesforce).
Excellent oral and written communication/interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills Word Outlook Excel.
