Responsibilities The Opportunity.
Support Business Continuity for LatAm Biscuits and Grains category through provide technical solutions (BCP, Productivity, Contigencies and pep+) for Sweeteners and ingredients specialties.
This role will support the research to enable business continuity across LatAm and will identify harmonization opportunities to deliver product consistency in the different markets.
Innovation Support for Indulgent Platform Projects is also expected for this role Your Impact.
As R&D Product Developer & Ingredients Engineer your responsiblities would consist.
Identify, evaluate and execute productivity projects to deliver savings, mainly through raw materials cost reduction within sweeteners ingredients category.
The role is accountable for providing consultation, making decisions and executing actions.
Procurement team and Product development team are the main groups impacted.
Validate alternate suppliers to ensure business continuity in case of contingencies for Sweeteners and specialties categories.
This deliverable considers performing laboratory prototypes and manufacturing scale up applications to determine performance on finished products.
Support Business Sustaining initiatives related to sweeteners and specialties in a short, medium and long period to support the Business Continuity Plan for LATAM Biscuits and Grains.
Enable LATAM regional strategies for ingredients harmonization for baking products, with special focus on sweeteners and specialties Support Ingredients contingencies together with Supply Chain to identify the root cause of the deviation and define an action plan to guarantee no business disruption.
Execute with excellence the new processes and systems implementation (E2E track, Accolade, PLM, Project System) and the documentation process alignment (Technical Stage Gate) for Productivity initiatives.
Support to future ingredients according market trend and business needs.
Support supplier networking agenda.
Work closely with external vendors to find new and/or optimized ingredients to develop innovation, productivity and brand stewardship projects.
Support Innovation Projects for Indulgent Category.
Marketing and Commercialization teams are the main groups impacted.
Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Education Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and/or Technology, Chemical Engineering or Related Specialty Experience At least 3 year experience in the food industry and/or R&D field.
Strong communication skills (oral and written) Result-oriented with a positive outlook.
Self-driven, analytical problem-solving Fluency in English language Travel availability Skills Demonstrates understanding on how to incorporate business needs based on deep technical decisions.
Ability to work effectively with multifunctional teams across the matrix organization Ability to influence and positively others.
